Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo de almacenamiento electroquímico que comprende una pluralidad de electrodos de capa, en donde cada electrodo de capa incluye un primer sector cargado y un segundo vector cargado, en donde el segundo vector cargado es cargado opuestamente en comparación con el primer sector cargado y en donde la pluralidad de electrodos de capa son ensamblados entre sí de tal manera que el primer sector cargado de una primera placa de la pluralidad de electrodos de capa es dispuesto debajo del segundo sector cargado de una segunda placa de la pluralidad de electrodos de capa ubicados inmediatamente por encima de la primera placa, en donde las cargas de los primeros sectores cargados de las primeras y segundas placas tienen un primer signo y las cargas de los segundos sectores cargados de las primeras y segundas placas tienen un segundo signo que es opuesto al primer signo; un sector separador ubicado y que habilita el intercambio de carga iónica entre el primer sector cargado de la primera capa y el segundo sector cargado de la segunda placa.
