Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un generador de energía accionado por corrientes de mareas. En el generador de energía accionado por corrientes de mareas, la corriente de marea fluye de una manera concentrada al interior de un módulo de generación de energía, a fin de aumentar la velocidad de la corriente de marea, para generar energía eléctrica utilizando el flujo de corrientes de mareas. Así, la cantidad de energía eléctrica generada por el módulo de generación de energía puede optimizarse para lograr un funcionamiento altamente eficiente. Además, la gama de ubicaciones en las que se puede instalar el módulo de generación de energía se expande significativamente a fin de incrementar la generación eléctrica usando corrientes de mareas. La instalación, reparación y mantenimiento del módulo de generación de energía se facilitan, dado que el módulo de generación de energía es ensamblado de manera integral y luego puesto a flote a fin de instalar el mismo en el fondo del mar.
