여기서, 케이슨 자리(120)는 통상의 콘크리트 구조물 제작 방법과 동일하게 거푸집을 통해 콘크리트로 양생한 후 해저 바닥에 설치하여 이루어진 것이다.

- 일방에서 타방으로 관통된 하나 이상의 조류통로(21)를 갖고, 상기 조류통로(21)는 중앙에 가장 작은 조류통로(21)의 단면을 갖는 목부(22)와, 상기 목부(22)를 대칭으로 점차 증가하는 조류통로(21)의 단면을 갖는 확관부(23,24)로 이루어진 케이슨 몸체(20)와;상기 조류통로(21) 내에 위치하여 상기 케이슨 몸체(20)에 지지된 발전장치(30)와;상기 케이슨 몸체(20)의 하부에 구비되어 해저 바닥에 박히게 되는 복수 개의 고정요소(40)를 포함하되;조류의 흐름방향이 조석주기에 따라 180도 반대 방향으로 흐르는 것을 고려하여 상기 고정요소(40)는 상기 케이슨 몸체(20)에서 일체로 성형되어 해저 바닥에 미리 만들어 둔 케이슨 자리(120)에 침입되는 침부(42) 및 요홈(41)으로 구성되고;상기 케이슨 몸체(20)는 해중 투하시 자중으로 해저 바닥에 안착되도록 콘크리트로 제작된 것을 특징으로 하는 복류식 조류발전장치 케이슨.
