Abstract

Se ha desarrollado un proceso y catalizador para la metátesis de olefinas en general, y específicamente para la producción de propileno a partir de etileno y bitileno. El catalizador comprende un compuesto de tungsteno metálico, que contiene cuando menos un enlace tungsteno-flúor, dispersado o injertado sobre o en un soporte. Un ejemplo específico del catalizador es el compuesto WOF (CH2CMe3)3 injertado sobre un soporte de sílice.
