Abstract
Se proporciona un acero inoxidable ferritico que tiene excelente resistencia a la oxidación mientras que conserva una procesabilidad intacta, sin requerir la adición de un elemento caro tales como Mo o W. Específicamente, el acero inoxidable ferritico que tiene excelente resistencia a la oxidación contiene, en términos de % en masa, hasta 0.015% de C, 0.40-1.00% de Si, hasta 1.00% de Mn, hasta 0.040% de P, hasta 0.010% de 5, 12.010-23.0% de Cr, hasta 0.015% de N, 0.30-0.65% de Nb, hasta 0.150% de Ti, hasta 0.10% de Mo, hasta 0.10% de W, menos de 1.00% de Cu, y 0.20-1.00% de Al y satisface Si=Al, con el resto comprendiendo Fe e impurezas secundarias.
