Abstract

La invención proporciona una implementación eficiente de reconstrucción de alta frecuencia (HFR = High-Frequency Reconstruction) mejorada de producto cruz, en donde un nuevo componente en la frecuencia QO + rOq se genera en base a componentes existentes en O y O + Oq. La superposición de varias muestras modificadas tiene el efecto neto de limitar productos de intermodulación indeseables, de esta manera permitiendo que una resolución tosca o burda de frecuencias y/o un grado menor de sobremuestreado sean utilizados. En una modalidad, la invención además incluye una función ventana adecuada para utilizar con HFR mejorada por producto cruz basado en bloque. Una modalidad de equipo físico de la invención puede incluir un banco de filtros de análisis (101), una unidad de procesamiento de sub-banda (102) configurados por datos de control (104) y un banco de filtros de síntesis (103).
