Abstract
La presente invención pertenece a un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes capaces de transmitir correctamente datos de imágenes en un formato capaz de generar imágenes de varias perspectivas. Una unidad de decisión de modo en un dispositivo de reproducción explora formatos de datos de imágenes 3D utilizados cuando se generan imágenes de varias perspectivas y decide un modo de compatibilidad que indica la compatibilidad con el formato de datos de imágenes, y una unidad de generación de datos 3D genera los datos de compatibilidad que incluyen el código de compatibilidad decidido, tal como datos 3D. una unidad de comunicación transmite los datos de imágenes 3D y los datos 3D a un dispositivo de visualización. Una unidad de comunicación en el dispositivo de visualización recibe los datos de imagen 3D transmitidos desde el dispositivo de reproducción y también recibe los datos de compatibilidad como datos 3D.
