Abstract
La presente invención pertenece a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes y un método de procesamiento de imágenes que permiten que las imágenes de color para puntos de vista de despliegue se generen utilizando las imágenes de color y las imágenes de profundidad con puntos de vista predeterminados. Una unidad de generación de información para generar puntos de vista genera la información de generación de punto de vista, la cual se utiliza al generar imágenes de color para los puntos de vista de despliegue, de acuerdo con un método para generar imágenes de color para los puntos de vista de despliegue obtenidas llevando a cabo la deformación utilizando imágenes de color corregidas de múltiples vistas e imágenes de profundidad de múltiples vistas. Una unidad de codificación de imágenes de múltiples vistas codifica las imágenes de color corregidas de múltiples vistas y las imágenes de profundidad de múltiples vistas, y transmite las imágenes con la información de generación de punto de vista. La presente invención se puede aplicar, por ejemplo, a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes para imágenes de múltiples vistas.
