Abstract

La descripción está dirigida a una unidad laminar de blindaje transparente que tiene una capa de cara de golpe de vidrio, vidrio-cerámica o cerámica, una o una pluralidad de capas de respaldo vidrio, vidrio-cerámica ("GC"), cerámica ("C") o polimérica ("P") atrás de la capa de cara de golpe, una o una pluralidad de capas de captura de astillas ("SC") atrás de la capa(s) de respaldo, y una capa de vidrio de cubierta delgada laminada a la cara de impacto, la capa delgada siendo la primera capa que ha de ser impactada por algún proyectil entrante o residuos; el vidrio de cubierta tiene un espesor = 3 mm; en otra modalidad el espesor de vidrio de cubierta es = 1 mm; además, un elemento de descongelamiento/desempañamiento es laminado entre el vidrio de cubierta y la cara de impacto.
