Abstract
Métodos y un aparato para la transmisión de segmentos seleccionados de información (tal como información de contexto de sistema). En una modalidad, se da a conocer una estación base de canales piloto cognitivos (CPC-BS) que hace posible la distribución de información de contexto a diversos equipos de usuario y dispositivos móviles en una manera eficiente. La CPC-BS ejemplar también es capaz opcionalmente de distribuir tareas de detección a entidades externas, y compilar los resultados de datos de estas tareas distribuidas para su uso en realizar futuras transmisiones de CPC con base, por ejemplo, en el modo operativo del sistema. La provisión por solicitud de información de contexto a través de comunicaciones de difusión y de igual a igual con los usuarios a los que sirve también se da a conocer. Además de la distribución de información de contexto mediante el uso de una sola CPC-BS, también se describen relaciones maestra-esclava entre CPC-BSs, las cuales permiten una arquitectura distribuida para proporcionar información de contexto a los usuarios a los que sirve.
