Abstract
Se describe un procedimiento para la preparación de compuestos arilpiridina por reacciones de acoplamiento cruzado entre una halopiridina y un haluro de arilmagnesio llevadas a cabo en presencia de una cantidad catalítica de una sal de zinc y una cantidad catalítica de complejo de paladio con una fosfina bidentada, la sal de zinc se selecciona preferentemente de ZnCI2, ZnBr2 y/o Zn(OAc)2, mientras que el complejo de paladio con una fosfina bidentada preferiblemente se selecciona del grupo de cloruro de (1,2-Bis(difenilfosfino)etano)paladio(ll), cloruro de (1,3- Bis(difenilfosfino)propano) paladio (II) y cloruro de (1,4-Bis(difenilfosfino)butano)paladio(ll); más preferido es cloruro de (1,2-Bis(difenilfosfino)etano)paladio(lI); así, es posible obtener rendimientos molares superiores al 95% calculado sobre el haluro de arilmagnesio y una capacidad catalítica menor de 1:1500; el procedimiento es especialmente adecuado para la preparación de 4-(2'-piridil)benzaldehído que puede entonces efectivamente convenirse en N1 -(t-butoxicarbonil)-N2-(4- (2'piridil)bencil)hidrazina.
