Abstract

La invención se relaciona con una muela abrasiva aglutinada por resina sintética comprendiendo una mezcla de grano abrasivo, aglutinante y formador de poros en que los formadores de poros son semillas vegetales y están contenidas en la muela abrasiva acabada. La muela abrasiva consiste de 60 a 90% por peso de grano abrasivo y de 10 a 40% por peso de aglutinante, donde las semillas vegetales constituyen hasta 80% por peso del aglutinante. Las semillas vegetales pueden contener aceite y pueden ser semillas de colza, semillas de amapola, semillas de alfalfa, semillas de altramuz, semillas de mostaza, semillas de serradella o de arveja, o semillas vegetales semejantes. La muela abrasiva puede ser producida mezclando grano abrasivo, aglutinante y semillas vegetales, vertiendo la mezcla inicial en un molde previsto para ello, prensando la mezcla, pre-secando la mezcla y cociendo la muela abrasiva. Las semillas vegetales no son quemadas durante la producción de la muela abrasiva. La muela abrasiva es cocida a temperaturas de hasta 250°C, preferentemente hasta 200°C, de mayor preferencia hasta 180°C y más preferentemente hasta 150°C.
