Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un generador de calor (1) donde comprende al menos un módulo térmico (10) que comprende N elementos magnetocalóricos adyacentes (2), configurado en un círculo alrededor de un eje central (A) y sometido a una variación en el campo magnético causada por dispositivos magnéticos (3) para hacer variar su temperatura. Estos elementos magnetocalóricos (2) se asocian con N pistones (40) sometidos a un movimiento de traslación recíproca mediante una leva de accionamiento (70) para poner en circulación el líquido de transferencia térmica contenido en el módulo térmico (10) en dos sentidos contrarios al mismo tiempo, de modo que una primera fracción del líquido de transferencia térmica circule hacia una cámara de intercambio caliente (5) a través de los elementos magnetocalóricos (2) sometidos a un ciclo de calentamiento, y que una segunda fracción del líquido de transferencia térmica circule hacia una cámara de intercambio fría (6) a través de los elementos magnetocalóricos (2) sometidos a un ciclo refrigerante, e inversamente. Las cámaras de intercambio (5, 6) son acopladas con circuitos externos que usan las calorías y frigorías, como calefacción, aire acondicionado, sistemas de atemperado, etc.
