Abstract

Es wird ein Stirlingmotor vom Gammatyp mit einem Kühler (1), einem Erhitzer (2), einem Regenerator (3), einem Verdrängerkolben (4), zur Hin- und Herbewegung eines Arbeitsmediums zwischen Kühler (1) und Erhitzer (2) durch den Regenerator (3) und mit einem Arbeitskolben (5) für die Abgabe der gewonnenen kinetischen Energie vorgestellt. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Verdrängerkolben (4) als ein reversierender Rotationskolben ausgeführt. Weiterhin wird ein Verfahren zur Anwendung eines derartigen Stirlingmotors aufgezeigt, bei dem der Verdrängerkolben (4) in einer Aussparung das Arbeitsmedium durch reversierend, oszillierende Drehbewegungen dicht an den Kühl- und Heizflächen der Kühler- und Erhitzerhalbschalen entlang führt, um einen effektiven Wärmeübergang zu bewirken.
