Abstract
Se describen un método y un aparato para descartar una unidad de datos de servicio (SDU) de protocolo de convergencia de paquete de datos (PDCP). Un estrato de PDCP fija un sincronizador y descarta una SDU de PDCP a la expiración del sincronizador. El sincronizador podrá fijarse al recibir la SDU de PDCP de un estrato superior o al suscribir la SDU de PDCP a un estrato inferior para transmisión. El sincronizador y el sincronizador de descarte de control de enlace a radio (RLC) podrán estar coordinados. De manera alternativa, el estrato de PDCP podrá descartar la SDU de PDCP con base a una notificación de un estrato de RLC o con base a un reporte de estado de PDCP.
