Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para la preparación de un ácido Montelukast o su sal sádica mediante la reacción de un compuesto tiol con un intermedio Montelukast en presencia de una base, en un medio que comprende un compuesto líquido jónico. De conformidad con el método de la presente invención, se puede preparar fácilmente con rendimiento elevado ácido Montelukast de alta pureza o su sal sádica, que se utiliza de manera provechosa como materia prima en la preparación de Montelukast, un antagonista de leucotrienos.
