Abstract

Las composiciones que comprenden (a) un polímero aromático de monovinilideno, por ejemplo, HIPS, y (b) un copolímero de etilenolalfaolefina (EAO), por ejemplo, un copolímero de etileno-propileno, que satisface la relación matemática: y = 20 + 2.35x, en la cual y es el contenido de etileno en por ciento mol (% mol) del copolímero EA0 y x es la viscosidad de Brookfield en centipoises (cP) a 100°C del copolímero EAO y la viscosidad es al menos 1 centipoise (cP), exhiben resistencia a cuarteadura como se compara con composiciones conteniendo polímeros aromáticos de monovinilideno, pero sin tal copolímero EAO.
