Abstract

La invención describe un método para la síntesis de un adsorbente parecido a hidrotalcita el cual es particularmente adecuado para la adsorción de aniones con contenido de sulfuro, por ejemplo en la purificación de agua potable. El método comprende mezclar una fuente de aluminio acuosa y una fuente de magnesio acuosa con una solución con contenido de un alcalino y/o soda bajo una agitación a alta velocidad. Como fuente de aluminio se usa un extracto derivado de la extracción de arcillas con ácidos minerales fuertes en la producción de tierra de blanqueo. El producto puede ser fácilmente separado y directamente usado como un adsorbente por diferentes aniones.
