Abstract

Se describen sistemas y metodologías que facilitan la operación de una terminal de acceso en un ambiente de comunicación inalámbrica basado en LTE utilizando microsueño prolongado; aunque esté en modo no-DRX, una terminal de acceso puede operar en estado de encendido durante un primer periodo de tiempo y en estado de microsueño prolongado durante un segundo periodo de tiempo; además, el primer y segundo periodos de tiempo pueden formar un patrón repetitivo en donde alternan estos periodos de tiempo; por lo tanto, la terminal de acceso puede encender su receptor durante el primer periodo de tiempo (por ejemplo, decodificar información de enlace descendente mientras está en el estado de encendido) y apagar su receptor durante el segundo periodo de tiempo (por ejemplo, inhibir la decodificación de la información de enlace descendente mientras está en el estado de microsueño prolongado); además, el primer periodo de tiempo en el patrón repetitivo puede ser un TTI (por ejemplo, 1 ms) y el segundo periodo de tiempo en el patrón repetitivo puede ser una pluralidad de TTI (por ejemplo, 5 ms).
