Abstract
Un método y un sistema para arrancar un motor en el cual el motor puede ser arrancado como un motor de inducción al aplicar una corriente magnetizante para formar un flujo a través del estator, estando establecida la corriente a un valor de corriente de estator del inductor máxima permisible (esto es la corriente que provocara una corriente sin carga en el campo magnético a la velocidad de transición). Las corrientes del estator de motor se mantendrán a un valor que permitan al motor generar una suficiente torca de ruptura para superar cualquier fricción estática. A una velocidad de transición específica o después de un periodo de tiempo, la impulsión iniciara una transición del control de motor de inducción al control de motor sincrónico al retirar la corriente magnetizante inicial, y una corriente de campo entonces se aplica al motor mediante el inductor a CD. Una vez que se ha concluido esta transición, la impulsión aumentará hasta alcanzar la demanda de velocidad deseada.
