Abstract

La invención se refiere a una batería eléctrica que comprende una pluralidad de elementos (1) que generan energía eléctrica y un sistema para el empaque térmico y mecánico de los elementos, el sistema comprende un lecho de fluido térmico (2) en donde los elementos se colocan para dejar un espacio lateral entre los elementos adyacentes (1), el sistema de empaque además incluye una pluralidad de módulos de empaque térmico (9), cada uno proporcionado con una trayectoria para fluido que fluye entre un puerto ascendente (10) y un puerto descendente (11), cada trayectoria de fluido se extiende a lo largo de un espacio lateral con los puertos (10, 11) en comunicación fluida con el lecho, el sistema de empaque además incluye una matriz estructural hecha de una resina de polímero eléctricamente aislante y de conducción térmica, la matriz rellena los espacios laterales, por los menos encapsulando parcialmente los elementos generadores y los módulos de empaque.
