Abstract

Se describen composiciones y procedimientos catalíticos para conversiones económicas de hidrocarburos de alcano inferior. En términos generales, la presente invención describe composiciones sólidas tratadas con promotor que contienen óxidos de metal mixtos que presentan actividad catalítica para amoxidación de hidrocarburos de alcano inferior para producir un nitrilo insaturado con rendimientos altos. En general, estas composiciones de oxido sólidas comprenden, como elementos componentes, molibdeno (Mo), vanadio (V), niobio (Nb) y por lo menos un elemento activo que se selecciona a partir del grupo que consiste de elementos que tienen la capacidad de formar iones positivos. Las composiciones catalíticas de óxido de metal mixto, de manera conveniente, se forman mediante pasos de procedimiento que comprenden impregnación de un catalizador base con un medio acuoso que comprende fuentes de uno o más elementos promotores, secado del material resultante; y después de esto someter el material seco a tratamiento con calor, bajo una atmósfera gaseosa que está sustancialmente libre de dioxígeno, a temperaturas elevadas de por lo menos 400ºC. También se describen métodos para formar los catalizadores mejorados que tienen la estructura cristalina deseada y procedimientos de amoxidación para conversión de alcanos inferiores.
