Abstract
Se describe un procedimiento para la amoxidación de un hidrocarburo saturado o insaturado o mezcla de hidrocarburos saturados e insaturados para producir un nitrilo insaturado, dicho procedimiento comprende poner en contacto el hidrocarburo saturado o insaturado o mezcla de hidrocarburos saturados e insaturados con amoniaco y un gas que contiene oxígeno en presencia de una composición de catalizador que comprende molibdeno, vanadio, antimonio, niobio, telurio, opcionalmente por lo menos un elemento que se selecciona a partir del grupo que consiste de titanio, estaño, germanio, zirconio, y hafnio, y opcionalmente por lo menos un lantánido que se selecciona a partir del grupo que consiste de lantano, cerio, praseodimio, neodimio, samario, europio, gadolinio, disprosio, holmio, erbio, tulio, iterbio y lutecio. Dichas composiciones se caracterizan por niveles muy bajos de telurio en la composición. Dichas composiciones de catalizador son efectivas para la conversión en fase gaseosa de propano en acrilonitrilo y de isobutano en metacrilonitrilo (mediante amoxidación).
