Abstract

En una modalidad de la invención, se describe un método para preparar sucralosa-6-acilato a través de la cloración de sacarosa-6-acilato a través de BTC en el procedimiento de preparación de sucralosa. En esta modalidad, primero se prepara un reactivo de Vilsmeier por debajo de 0ºC disolviendo BTC en DMF o en solvente de componente, conteniendo DMF, tolueno, dicloroetano, cloroformo y tetracloruro de carbono. Consecuentemente, se cloró sacarosa-6-éster a través del reactivo de Vilsmeier. También se puede disolver BTC en uno o varios solventes orgánicos tales como tolueno, dicloroetano, cloroformo y tetracloruro de carbono, y se agregó a una solución de DMF de sacarosa-6-acilato para cloración. Se preparó sucralosa a través de la des-esterificación del 6-éster sucralosado utilizando metóxido de sodio/metanol o etóxido de sodio/etanol.
