Abstract

Se reclaman composiciones farmacéuticas con liberación diferenciada, controlada y/o específica para el sitio, para la administración oral o rectal de sustancias péptidas o proteínicas, incluyendo anticuerpos y receptores solubles capaces de antagonizar el papel patogenético de varios mediadores celulares tales como interleucinas, quimioquinas, factores de crecimiento, factores de necrosis tumoral e interferones. Mediante la incorporación de la sustancia péptida o proteínica dentro de una preparación con liberación controlada y/o específica para el sitio, la aplicación de esta invención permite transportar las sustancias directamente al entorno intestinal, en donde está presente una cantidad reducida de enzimas proteolíticas, un microentorno menos agresivo para la integridad de la estructura y secuencia de la proteína.
