Abstract

La presente invención provee un aptámero o un grupo de aptámeros que se une(n) a una molécula de blanco en la superficie de una célula de esperma de mamífero, y a un método para producir los aptámeros. El método comprende poner en contacto una colección de diferentes moléculas de ácido nucleico con la molécula de blanco, bajo condiciones favorables para la unión entre al menos una de las moléculas de ácido nucleico y la molécula de blanco, para formar por lo menos un complejo que comprende la unión de la molécula de ácido nucleico a la molécula de blanco; donde cada una de las moléculas de ácido nucleico comprende por lo menos un segmento de secuencias de nucleótido seleccionadas al azar. Se separan luego los complejos de las moléculas de ácido nucleico sin unir y las moléculas de blanco sin unir; y se recupera la molécula de ácido nucleico unida, del complejo separado. Se usan los aptámeros para separar células de esperma con base en las calidades de las células de esperma, por ejemplo, si las células contienen cromosomas X o cromosomas Y.
