Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de control de flujo de gas para moldes de metal fundido con paredes perimetrales permeables, en donde un flujo de masa de gas aproximadamente constante se mantiene en los moldes individuales y los flujos de masa de gas aproximadamente iguales se mantienen en moldes en la misma mesa de moldes. Una PLC se utiliza en combinación con un controlador de flujo de masa de gas para monitorear y mantener continuamente el flujo de masa de gas aproximadamente deseado a las cavidades de molde.
