Abstract
Description
本PCT出願は、本願とともに提出されるPCTリクエストフォームに記載される先行出願から優先権を主張する。
本発明は、金属鋳造用金型の金型出口周囲に透過性外周壁を利用する金型台上の金型に、改良されたガス流を提供するシステムに関する。
金型ハウジング160を通るガス入口ライン165と矢印164とは外周壁161を透過して金型キャビティに入るガスを示す。図4は、潤滑剤がラインを通って透過性外周壁161を通過し金型キャビティ内へ流れることを示す矢印163付きの潤滑ライン162の例も示す。
Claims (9)
- 金型台枠組および複数の金型を含む金型台であって、複数の金型の各々が金型キャビティ入口および金型キャビティ出口を有する金型キャビティを含み、更に各金型キャビティ出口が鋳造中にガスを通過させる透過性外周壁を含んでなる金型台と、
複数のガス供給ラインであって、各々が前記複数の金型キャビティのうちの1つに対応し、且つ各々がそれに対応する前記複数の金型キャビティのうちの前記1つの前記透過性外周壁にガスを供給するように構成されている複数のガス供給ラインと、
前記複数のガス供給ラインに作動接続された複数のガス質量流制御装置であって、各々がそれに対応する前記複数の金型キャビティのうちの前記1つの前記透過性外周壁にほぼ一定のガスの質量流を供給するように構成されている複数のガス質量流制御装置と、
を備え、
前記複数のガス質量流制御装置が前記複数の透過性外周壁の各々を通過するガス流をほぼ均等に維持する、溶融金属鋳造システム。 - 前記透過性外周壁がグラファイトリングである、請求項1に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。
- 前記ガスが空気である、請求項1に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。
- 前記複数のガス質量流制御装置の各々が、
前記透過性外周壁の上流に位置する圧力計と、
対応する前記複数のガス供給ラインのうちの前記1つに作動接続された可変圧力弁であって、前記ガス供給ラインに追加の抵抗圧を導入して前記ガス供給ラインでの予め定められたガス質量流量を達成するように構成された可変圧力弁と
を備える、請求項1に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。 - 前記複数のガス質量流制御装置と作動接続されると共に、前記圧力計の圧力示度に基づき前記可変圧力弁を操作するように構成されたプログラム可能な論理制御装置を更に備えてなる、請求項4に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。
- 前記プログラム可能な論理制御装置が、前記複数のガス質量流制御装置の各々を連続的に且つ個別に監視し制御するように構成されている、請求項5に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。
- 前記プログラム可能な論理制御装置が、前記金型台から遠隔に配置され、通信ラインを介して前記複数のガス質量流制御装置に作動接続されている、請求項5に記載の溶融金属鋳造システム。
- 溶融金属鋳造システムにおいて、金型台上の複数の金型キャビティの各々へ略均等なガス質量流を達成する方法であって、
(1) 金型台枠組と、金型入口および金型出口を含む金型キャビティ並びに鋳造中にガスを通過させるように構成された透過性外周壁を有する第1の金型と、金型入口および金型出口を含む金型キャビティ並びに鋳造中にガスを通過させるように構成された透過性外周壁を有する第2の金型とを有する金型台と、
前記第1の金型の前記透過性外周壁にガス流を供給するように配置された第1のガス供給ラインであって、このラインに作動接続された第1のガス質量流制御装置を有する第1のガス供給ラインと、
前記第2の金型の前記透過性外周壁にガス流を供給するように配置された第2のガス供給ラインであって、このラインに作動接続された第2のガス質量流制御装置を有する第2のガス供給ラインと、
を提供することと、
(2) 前記第1のガス質量流制御装置と前記第2のガス質量流制御装置とを協調させて、前記第1の金型の前記透過性外周壁へのガスの質量流を、前記第2の金型の前記透過性外周壁へのガスの質量流とほぼ同じに設定すること、
を備えてなることを特徴とする方法。 - 溶融金属鋳造システムにおいて、金型入口および金型出口を含む金型キャビティ、並びに、鋳造中にガスを通過させるように構成された透過性外周壁を有する金型へのガスの質量流を維持する方法であって、
前記金型の透過性外周壁にガス流を供給するように配置されたガス供給ラインと、
前記ガス供給ラインに作動接続されたガス質量流制御装置であって、前記透過性外周壁の上流の圧力計と可変圧力弁とを備えており、その可変圧力弁が、前記金型の透過性外周壁を通過するガスの質量流をほぼ一定に維持するために前記透過性外周壁からの圧力を可変的に補うように構成されているガス質量流制御装置と、
を提供することを特徴とする方法。
