Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un dispositivo para moldear un artículo de plástico, en el cual el artículo se obtiene por la compresión de una cantidad dosificada de plástico (3) en el estado fundido entre las dos partes de un molde, que comprende al menos un suministro de plástico (1), una varilla (11), que se desliza en una manga (8) adecuada para sostener temporalmente la cantidad dosificada de plástico (3), un molde para la parte superior del artículo (6, 7) y un mandril (18), que coopera con el molde (6, 7), la manga (8) tiene una cara superior (16) y una pared lateral (17), el dispositivo incluye medios para depositar la cantidad dosificada en la manga (1, 2), medios los cuales están diseñados de manera que la cantidad de plástico (22) localizado por encima de un plano (20) que coincide con la cara superior (16) de la manga (8) es de entre 20% y 40% de la masa total de la cantidad dosificada (3).
