Abstract

La presente invención refiere a un sistema y método para proveer ubicación y determinación en un ambiente configurado en donde no hay señal de sistema de navegación global satelital disponible. En este sentido, un sistema de guía local genera señales de espectro expandido CDMA que son recibidas por unidades de compresión espectral derivadas de observaciones fisicamente significativas sin un requerimiento para correlación de interceptores de energía como pueden ser códigos conocidos expansivos. La invención puede coexistir con activos de comunicación ya puestos y el diseño permite una auto calibración que simplifica el uso y la instalación. El invento tiene utilidad en aplicaciones en las cuales señales GNSS no están disponibles o se encuentran limitadas, por ejemplo, un almacén, en operaciones de búsqueda y rescate y en ambientes cubiertos.
