Abstract

La invención se refiere a un engranaje de rueda helicoidal para un mecanismo de dirección de cremallera y piñón. El engranaje de rueda helicoidal consta de un piñón (1) que en su lado transmisor engrana con una cremallera y, dispuesta inmovilizada de giro sobre el lado accionado del piñón (1), una rueda (2, 3, 4) helicoidal sobre la cual actúa un par de giro generado por una fuerza de dirección o/y fuerza auxiliar de dirección. La rueda (2, 3, 4) helicoidal se configura como rueda dentada armada y consta de una corona (2) dentada que con relación a la dirección axial del engranaje o respectivamente de su piñón (1) se dispone entre dos bridas (3, 4). La corona (2) dentada se encuentra montada sobre un cubo (5) configurado en una de las bridas (3) y se arma con las bridas (3, 4) con unión positiva de forma. A diferencia del estado de la técnica, de conformidad con la invención no todos los componentes que configuran la rueda helicoidal armada se montan sobre el piñón (1) únicamente mediante ajuste prensado. Más bien una de las bridas (3), específicamente la brida (3) que comprende el cubo (5) para la corona (2) dentada se configura monolítica con el piñón (1).
