Abstract

A tubular bag (1) is provided with a bag body (11), lid (12) and possibly with a bottom. The bag body (11) is formed by means of a fin seal (14), wherein at least one material weakening (16, 17) extends from the free longitudinal edge (15) of the fin seal (14) on the circumference of the body (11) of the tubular bag (10) in such a way that said tubular bag is openable along said material weakening (16, 17).

Description

TUBULAR BAG THAT HAS A TUBULAR BODY BODY THAT CAN BE OPENED BY RASGADO FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a tubular bag, having a tubular body and a lid part and optionally, having a base, especially a flat bottom or vertical base.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Tubular bags of the type under consideration are generally known, and are used to retain, store and transport liquid contents, in the form of paste, powder, pourable and solid. They are distinguished from being very low weight and are easily conformable and printable. In addition, if a suitable material is chosen, they can be arranged in a simple and environmentally friendly way. More especially, once they are emptied, they can be folded down to a minimum volume and discarded by the appropriate route. A general problem, however, is the opening behavior of such tubular or packaged tubular bag bags. Such packages are usually opened by breaking open the package, it is usual to provide a point of grip in a sealing seam for such purpose, so that the latter can be pulled apart for purposes of opening, the seal is proposed to open by breaking . A disadvantage of such a solution, however, is that the packaging is opened in a relatively non-direct and uncontrolled manner, so that the contents of the packaging are spilled, which, particularly in the case of liquid or pourable contents, often results in loss of packaged items. Further, after such an open tear, the interior of the tubular bag is in general, only very sparingly accessible, because the residual or torn portions of the package cause an obstruction and make it difficult to gain access to the interior of the tubular bag, for example , with a spoon. Even when the contents of the packaging are discharged, the residual portions of the package are very problematic and further, result in contamination by the environment, which is often undesirable. A further variant of the opening comprises the use of a pair of scissors by means of which, an upper portion of the closed tubular bag is cut and removed, so that the contents of the tubular bag are accessible. Although such variants allow a portion of tubular bag that closes the tubular bag to be separated in a clean manner, it creates the problem that it is always necessary to have a pair of scissors at hand. Here too, there is a risk that, if the used scissors are not clean, the cut edges of the tubular bag and possibly also the contents of the tubular bag, will be contaminated and potentially become unusable as a result. The fundamental problem of the present invention is to provide a tubular bag of the type mentioned at the beginning, which can be opened hygienically, simply and without assistance, so that the interior of the tubular bag is accessible without problems. From all of the above, the opening must be distinguished by a defined opening edge that is free of irregularly protruding portions of the packaging. Finally, the construction according to the invention must provide an opening which is as large as possible and which allows easy access to the inside of the bag with a spoon or the like. Such a problem is solved by a tubular bag or a tubular bag packaging, in accordance with the characterizing factors of claim 1. A key aspect of the present invention is therefore that the tubular bag body, which is usually of cylindrical construction, is formed by means of a fin seal, with at least one weakness of material extending, starting from the free longitudinal edge of the fin seal, around the circumference of the tubular bag body, so that, as requires, the tubular bag can be opened along such a weak material, especially over the entire cross section of the tubular bag body or tubular bag. It is also possible, in a simple way, to produce a maximum opening of the tubular bag, for purposes of emptying it. The tubular bag is therefore opened without removing the cap piece and / or the base, but dividing the tubular bag body. Preferably, the weakness of the material is located close to the cover part of the tubular bag, so that after the tubular bag has been opened, its contents remain easily and easily accessible in the portion of the tubular bag body that includes the base. The opening of the tubular bag is effected by gripping or pulling the warning seal in the region of the material weakness, so that the weakness of the material is opened by rupture either only on a circumferential portion, or preferably, around the full circumference of the tubular bag body. The weakness of the material is preferably a stamped line that extends continuously or is of non-continuous configuration as a perforation. Prefabricated lines of material weakness can be formed without problems, especially by stamping on the materials commonly used today, especially the laminates preferably used here. With respect to the materials preferably used herein, reference is made to claim 8. In an especially preferred embodiment, two material weaknesses are provided, especially stamped lines, spaced apart axially from each other and each extending around the body circumference of the body. tubular bag, which between them, defines a tear-open strip, which begins at the free edge of the flap seal. To facilitate the tear opening, the weakness of the material preferably encloses a cut formed on the free edge of the warning seal. This can be cut in the form of a V-notch. The lid part and / or the base is / are sealed or adhesively bonded to the tubular bag body in a conventional manner. As already mentioned, the tubular bag body is produced from a laminate, especially aluminum laminate, having at least one sealing layer and optionally at least one barrier layer. The barrier layer preferably consists of Si02, A10X, vinylethyl alcohol or a metal foil. Furthermore, it may be advantageous for the sturdiness and stability of the tubular bag for the cover part and / or the base in each case to be relatively rigid in construction, preferably in the form of a deep-drawn disk having adhesively bondable edges or Sealable Alternatively, the base can also be produced from a laminate and constructed with a V or W fold, so that the stability and dimensional robustness required are likewise obtained. For reasons of cost, it is also advantageous for the cover piece and / or the base to be produced from substantially the same materials as the tubular bag body. When the lid part and / or the base are in the form of a shallow disc, it may also be advantageous to provide the surface of the lid or base part with granules, especially intersecting granulates, to increase its dimensional stability. The cover part and / or the base can also be provided in the form of an injection molded part. Finally, it depends on the required stability, the size of the packaging and the contents of the packaging. With respect to the preferred dimensions of the cover piece, the base and the tubular bag body, reference is made to claim 11. As required, the cover piece, the base and the tubular bag body, consist of a material that is sterilizable. An exemplary embodiment of a tubular bag constructed in accordance with the invention is described below, with reference to Figure 1, which shows a perspective view of the half of a tubular bag constructed in accordance with the invention., which is associated with a cover piece. The tubular bag is constructed as a cylindrical can and has been given the reference numeral 10 in Fig. 1. It comprises a cylindrical tubular bag body 11 and a lid part 12. A base is not shown in Fig. 1. The base can, however, preferably be constructed in the same way as the cover piece 12, ie, in the form of a shallow disc having a circumferential edge 13, which is sealable in the tubular bag body 11 to end of it. The sealing is effected between the inner edge of the end of the tubular bag body 11 and the outer surface of the circumferential edge 13 of the lid part 12 or a base of the same construction.
The body of tubular bag 11 is produced of a rectangular laminate, the free longitudinal edges being joined together, ie sealed, to form a so-called seal winged 14. From the free longitudinal edge 15 of the seal winged 14 is formed , axially spaced apart from each other, two material weaknesses in the form of stamped lines 16, 17, which extend around the circumference of the tubular bag body 11, so that as required, the tubular bag 10 can be open along these stamped lines 16, 17. The stamped lines 16, 17, define between them, a tear-open strip 18 extending around the circumference of the tubular body 11. In accordance with Fig. 1, such The strip is located close to the lid part 12, so that when the tubular bag 11 is being opened by pulling on the open end by tearing 18 in the direction of the arrow 19, substantially only the The uppermost portion of the tubular bag body 11 is removed together with the cover piece 12. The portion of the tubular bag body 11 that includes the base therefore is largely retained. For the user the open tubular bag has the appearance of having only the lid part 12 removed. The material weakness, ie the stamped lines 16, 17, in each case, enclose a cut formed in the free edge 15 of the fin seal 14, which is cut in the form of a notch in V 20, in the modality shown. Accordingly, the tearing of the stamped lines in the circumferential direction is predetermined and facilitated. The cross-section of the tubular bag body 11 can be circular as in the embodiment shown. It is also possible, however, to provide a cross section, triangular, polygonal or oval or the like. In such a case, of course, the lid part and / or the base need to be adapted accordingly. As already mentioned at the beginning, the tubular bag body preferably consists of a laminate. The cover piece and the base can be produced from the same material. With respect to the dimensions, it has been advantageously tested for the cover piece, that the base and / or the tubular bag body have a thickness in the range from 50 μ to 500 μ, especially from 80 μ to 400 μ, preferably, from 100 μ to 350 μ. Using a unidirectionally stretched sheet laminate, it is possible for the tubular bag body to be torn open along the stamped lines 16, 17 in a particularly controlled manner. In a unidirectionally stretched sheet, the chains of molecules forming the sheet are aligned and arranged substantially parallel in the direction of stretching. As a result, the stretched material is able to divide preferentially parallel to the stretch direction compared to a direction at an angle to this, so that the oblique tear through chains aligned molecules provides significantly more difficult or impossible. When such a sheet is divided or opened by tearing parallel to the direction of stretching, none of the chains of molecules are cut. In addition, none of the chains of molecules is opened by tearing the molecular structure, because the chains of molecules that make up the material are not tangled, but arranged more or less smoothly one after the other. In such form, tear such unidirectionally film parallel to the stretching direction stretched, it requires tearing strength significantly reduced compared to conventional blades, in which the force is up to 50 to 60% less than the tearing strength could be necessary for a conventionally unstretched or bidirectionally stretched sheet. In the embodiment shown, the relevant sheet of the sheet or laminate composite has been stretched in the circumferential direction, i.e., in the tear-open direction of the tear-open strip 18. In such form, smooth, uniform tear-open edges, which follow in the direction of the stretch, are obtained along the stamped lines. 17. With respect to preferred materials and dimensions, reference is made to claims 18 and 19. All the features described in the application documents are claimed to be important to the invention, in that they are new to the prior art and to the prior art. either alone or in combination.
