A paper container comprising a body mainly composed of a paper substrate, a bottom and a lid, wherein the body has a layer having a gas barrier property or the like inside a layer of paper. A uniaxially stretched plastic film layer and a layer having heat sealability are laminated in this order, and two cut lines are formed in the paper layer of the body in parallel with the stretching direction of the uniaxially stretched plastic film layer. An easily openable paper container characterized in that a band-shaped opening portion is formed on the base material.
