Abstract

Un metodo para operar un tanque de vacio con un chorro coherente en donde las condiciones de vacio estan establecidas dentro del tanque y un volumen envolvente de flama anclada o adjunta resulta del combustible de velocidad subsonica y oxidante es suministrado alrededor de al menos un flujo de gas supersonico. Otro aspecto de la invencion es un metodo para formar y mantener un chorro de gas coherente dentro de un tanque que comprende inyectar gas en un flujo de gas a una velocidad supersonica desde el dispositivo de inyeccion en el tanque en donde las condiciones de vacio estan establecidas, proporcionando combustible y oxidante a una velocidad subsonica en el tanque alrededor del flujo de gas, y combustionando el combustible y oxidante para formar un volumen envolvente de flama alrededor del flujo de gas para formar y mantener el flujo de gas como un chorro de gas coherente.
