Abstract
La invención proporciona un proceso para la preparación de un compuesto de fluoroyodoalcano representado por la fórmula CF3(CF2)n-I, en donde n es 0 o 1. El proceso incluye la etapa de poner en contacto: (i) un compuestos representado por la fórmula CF3(CF2)n-Y, en donde Y se selecciona de H, Cl, Br y COOH y n es 0 o 1; (ii) una fuente de yodo; (iii) un catalizador de sal de metal alcalino o alcalinotérreo soportado sobre un portador; y (iv) un promotor de catalizador para el catalizador de sal de metal alcalino o alcalinotérreo. El promotor de catalizador incluye al menos un elemento seleccionado de un elemento de metal de transición, un elemento de metal de tierra rara, un elemento del grupo principal diferente del elemento de metal de metal alcalino o alcalinotérreo, y sales de los mismos, y cualquier combinación de los mismos. La puesta en contacto se lleva a cabo a una temperatura y presión y por una duración de tiempo suficiente para producir el compuesto de fluoroyodoalcano. La puesta en contacto se puede llevar a cabo en la presencia o ausencia de un solvente y en la presencia o ausencia de oxígeno.
