Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona a metodos para disenar moleculas de acido nucleico para la expresion mejorada de los polipeptidos codificados en plantas. En tales metodos, las frecuencias de utilizacion de codon se desvian hacia las frecuencias de utilizacion de codon de un virus de planta, grupo de virus de planta, o un subconjunto de moleculas de acido nucleico de los mismos. En modalidades preferidas, el polipeptido codificado afecta el fenotipo de la planta. La invencion tambien pertenece a moleculas de acido nucleico que codifican polipeptidos insecticidas en donde las moleculas de acido nucleico se han disenado para tener desviacion de codon de virus de planta. La invencion tambien pertenece a plantas transgenicas y progenie de las mismas con expresion incrementada de polipeptidos insecticidas para resistencia mejorada a insectos y otras pestes que son perjudiciales a las plantas de valor agricola.
