Abstract

Un sistema de control de carga de bateria bidireccional para un dispositivo electronico portatil que utiliza una bateria principal recargable. El sistema permite la conexion de una bateria auxiliar (16) al dispositivo para ingresar corriente adicional al dispositivos. Un cargador bidireccional (22) lleva a cabo el control del flujo de corriente dentro y fuera de la bateria auxiliar. La bateria auxiliar puede contener una o mas celdas primarias o secundarias facilmente disponibles, y el cargador bidireccional es tal que un cargador externo conectado al dispositivo, generalmente utilizando para cargar la bateria recargable principal del dispositivo, tambien puede recargar una celda o celdas secundaria(s) en la bateria auxiliar, en general, si tal esta instalada. El uso de tal bateria auxiliar permite que la bateria principal sea cableada en el dispositivo.
