Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo para mejorar la calidad de audio para sistemas a base de un protocolo de Internet (IP (por sus siglas en ingles)) utilizando un formato de carga util de velocidades multiples adaptables (AMR) (por sus siglas en ingles)). Si un separador de la red indicativo de la congestion de la red excede su umbral 210, se hace una determinacion sobre si se coloca un cuadro SIN DATOS en el paquete RTP actual en lugar del cuadro de AMR 240. Si las condiciones de la red estan demasiado congestionadas, entonces un cuadro SIN DATOS es colocado en el paquete de RTP actual 245. El proceso es repetido para cada cuadro de AMR de entrada. El proceso asegura primero que la velocidad de codificacion de AMR sea ajustada a su velocidad de codificacion mas baja posible 230 previo a la substitucion de un cuadro de AMR (por sus siglas en ingles) con un cuadro SIN DATOS 245. La configuracion de substitucion es dispersada sobre el paquete de RTP completo para evitar los grupos de cuadros SIN DATOS. El proceso tambien puede separar los cuadros de AMR (por sus siglas en ingles) de un valor de energia mas bajo 320 que podrian ser buenos candidatos para la substitucion.
