Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un sistema de frenado de tipo freno por cable para un vehiculo a motor, que comprende un transductor de presion de freno (3, 4) que puede ser accionado a traves de un pedal de freno (l), dicho transductor de presion de freno (3, 4) esta conectado al freno de rueda del vehiculo cuando el modo de operacion de freno por cable no esta activado. El sistema de frenado de tipo freno por cable comprende tambien una fuente de presion (3, 4, 5) que puede estar controlada a traves de una unidad de control electronico (7) y dicha fuente de presion puede estar conectada al freno de rueda del vehiculo cuando el freno por cable se encuentra en el modo de operacion, que comprende tambien medios (6) que son utilizados para detectar el deseo del conductor de hacer mas lento el desplazamiento del vehiculo, un simulador de desplazamiento de pedal (2) que coopera con el pedal de freno (1) permitiendo que una fuerza de restauracion que actua sobre el pedal de freno (1) sea simulada independientemente del control de la fuente de presion cuando el freno por cable se encuentra en el modo de operacion y un dispositivo electrohidraulico (9) que puede ser controlado a traves de una unidad de control electronico (7), dicho dispositivo permite que el modo de operacion de freno por cable este activado cuando esta encendido y permite que el simulador de desplazamiento de pedal (2) este activado cuando el modo de freno por cable no este activo. El dispositivo electrohidraulico (9) esta controlado por senales producidas por los medios (6) utilizados para detectar el deseo del conductor de reducir la velocidad.
