Abstract

Se proporcionan metodos para modular los niveles de expresion de oleosina en plantas. Especificamente, metodos para preparar los productos derivados de semilla a partir de semillas, en donde se ha alterado la composicion de reservas de almacenamiento de semilla, principalmente los contenidos proteinicos y de Iipidos de la semilla. En particular, la presente invencion proporciona metodos para preparar productos derivados de semilla a partir de semillas, en el cual las reservas de semilla se han alterado mediante lamodulacion de la expresion del gen de oleosina y mas particularmente mediante la supresion de la expresion del gen de oleosina.
