Abstract
La estructura de memoria instantanea no volatil multi-segmentada es empleada en combinacion con por lo menos una estructura de memoria asociada para almacenar, actualizar y conservar datos de medidor. Mediante el inicialmente almacenar los datos de medidor en la memoria asociada, los datos de medidor son conservados en una memoria intermedia hasta que cualquiera una cantidad predeterminada de datos es obtenida o hasta que la energia para el medidor es inhabilitada, en cuyo punto los datos de medidor almacenados son copiados en los bloques seleccionados de la memoria instantanea. Las ubicaciones varias para transferir datos son respectivamente determinadas por los apuntadores de instantanea indicando cuales segmentos o bloques de la memoria instantanea utilizar. Tales incorporaciones, el tamano de la estructura de memoria asociada corresponde al tamano de cada segmento de la memoria instantanea para maximizar la transferencia de datos cuando la estructura de memoria asociada esta llena y tambien para reducir el numero de veces que la memoria instantanea es escrita, para por tanto aumentar el potencial activo del termino de vida de la memoria instantanea.
