Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a método de retorno para la frecuencia de radio para la televisión por cable, para asignar una población de unidades remotas entre una pluralidad de grupos mediante un control central para un sistema de regreso de datos, las unidades remotas cada una tiene un identificador singular asociado respectivamente con la misma, el método está caracterizado por los pasos de: seleccionar un número máximo de unidades remotas por un grupo y un número mínimo de grupos; asignar las unidades remotas al número mínimo de grupos de unidades remotas de conformidad con los identificadores singulares respectivos; determinar un número promedio de unidades remotas por grupo a medida que las unidades remotas se asignan al mismo; comparar el número promedio de unidades remotas por grupo al número máximo de unidades remotas por grupo; cambiar el número de grupos si el número promedio de unidades remotas por grupo excede el número máximo de unidades remotas por grupo; repetir los pasos (c) a (e) mientras que el número promedio de unidades remotas por grupo es mayor que el número máximo de unidades remotas por grupo; y comunicar las asignaciones de grupo respectivas hasta las unidades remotas del control central.
