Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un alojamiento para un engranaje de dirección de potencia de piñón y cremallera de válvula giratoria, que comprende: una porción de alojamiento de piñón fabricada de un primer metal de peso ligero; medios sobre la porción de alojamiento de piñón, que definen una perforación de piñón alineada sobre un eje de piñón de la porción del alojamiento del piñón; una porción de alojamiento de válvula cilíndrica, circular, recta, fabricada de un segundo metal más denso y resistente a la abrasión que el primer metal; medios que definen un contrataladro en una superficie de extremo de la porción de alojamiento del piñón, alrededor de un extremo de la perforación de piñón, que tiene una superficie cilíndrica interna alineada sobre el eje del piñón; medios que definen un pasaje de moldeo por inyección en la porción del alojamiento del piñón; medios que definen una primera ranura anular en la superficie cilíndrica interna del contrataladro, conectados con el pasaje de moldeo por inyección; medios que definen un cuello anular sobre la porción de alojamiento de válvula, que tienen una superficie cilíndrica externa; medios sobre la porción de alojamiento de válvula, que definen una segunda ranura anular en la superficie cilíndrica externa; siendo el cuello anular en la porción del alojamiento de válvula recibido en el contrataladro en la porción del alojamiento del piñón, con un ajuste a presión de interferencia entre la superficie cilíndrica interna y la superficie externa, y con la primera ranura anular traslapando por lo menos una porción de la segunda ranura anular y cooperando con la misma para definir una cámara de anillo anular; medios de retención y sellado moldeados por inyección in situ en los medios de pasaje y la cámara de anillo, que forman un anillo de retención que inhibe redundantemente el retiro de la porción del alojamiento de válvula desde la porción del alojamiento del piñón y que sella la interfaz entre las superficies cilíndricas interna y externa; y medios sobre el cuello anular que definen una superficie cilíndrica interna que queda alineada sobre el eje del piñón, cuando el cuello anular se recibe en el contrataladro, definiendo la superficie cilíndrica interna del cuello, un soporte de cojinete para una flecha de piñón del engranaje de dirección de piñón y cremallera, en la porción del alojamiento del piñón.
