Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de fieltro para piso que comprende: de aproximadamente 30 a aproximadamente 90 partes en peso de por lo menos un material de relleno o carga, de aproximadamente 5 a aproximadamente 25 partes en peso de por lo menos una fibra, opcionalmente hasta aproximadamente 3 partes en peso de un antioxidante, y de aproximadamente 5 a aproximadamente 25 partes en peso de un copolímero de látex, el polímero de látex elaborado de una mezcla monomerica que comprende a) de aproximadamente 20 por ciento a aproximadamente 70 por ciento en peso de un monómero aromático substituído con vinilo que tiene de 8 a 15 átomos de carbono, b) de aproximadamente 30 a aproximadamente 70 por ciento en peso de un dieno conjugado que tiene de aproximadamente 4 a aproximadamente 12 átomos de carbono, c) hasta aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso de un ácido policarboxílico insaturado exento de ácidos acrílico, ácido metacrílico y derivados de los mismos, y d) hasta aproximadamente 5 por ciento en peso de un agente de reticulación funcional que no sea el ácido carboxílico insaturado.
