Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento de extracción a contracorriente líquido/líquido, preferiblemente continua, para remover trigliceridos MMM de una corriente de aceite que contiene trigliceridos MMML/MLM, donde M es un residuo de ácido graso de C6-C10, preferiblemente un residuo de ácido graso saturado de C6-C10, muy preferiblemente un residuo de ácido graso saturado de C8 ó C10, o mezclas de los mismos y L es un residuo de ácido graso de C18-C24, preferiblemente un residuo de ácido graso saturado de C18-C24, muy preferiblemente por lo menos 90 por ciento de residuos de ácido behenico, o una mezcla de los mismos, caracterizado dicho procedimiento porque comprende el paso de hacer pasar una corriente de aceite que contiene por lo menos 2 por ciento de trigliceridos MMM y por lo menos 15 por ciento, muy preferiblemente 30 por ciento de trigliceridos MML/MLM en contracorriente hacia una corriente de solvente que contiene un solvente polar o un fluído supercrítico que es parcialmente miscible polar o un fluído supercrítico que es pacialmente miscible con la corriente de aceite, de tal manera que la corriente de solvente remueve selectivamente por lo menos 25 por ciento preferiblemente por lo menos 50 por ciento de los trigliceridos MMM presentes en al corriente de aceite.
