Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para mejorar la recuperación del etano desde el gas natural, en que el líquido condensado se regresa a un desmetanizador como reflujo, este metodo comprende las etapas de: a) remover el vapor superior desde desmetanizador; b) comprimir una porción del vapor superior, ahora en reflujo, a una presión mayor que aquella del desmetanizador; c) reducir la temperatura del reflujo comprimido, por lo cual se causa que al menos una porción de este sea condensado; d) igualar la presión del reflujo a aquella del desmetanizador; y e) alimentar el reflujo de nuevo al desmetanizador.
