Abstract
Procesos y aparatos para mejorar la recuperacion de los componentes relativamente menos volátiles de una alimentacion de gas rica en metano para producir un producto de GNL mientras, al mismos tiempo, recuperar separadamente los componentes relativamente más volátiles los cuales son licuados para producir un producto de GNL. Los procesos mejoran la separacion y eficiencia dentro de la columna de recuperacion de GNL mientras que mantienen la presion de columna para lograr utilizacion eficiente y economica de la refrigeracion mecánica disponible. Los procesos son particularmente utiles para retirar ciclo-hexano, benceno y otros hidrocarburos pesados, daninos, de una alimentacion de gas. Los beneficios se logran mediante la introduccion a la columna de recuperacion de GNL de un reflujo mejorado pobre en los componentes de GNL. Se pueden lograr ventajas vinculando térmicamente un regenerador lateral para la columna de recuperacion de GNL con el condensador superior para la columna de purificacion de GNL. Usando los procesos, se logran recuperaciones de propano y componentes más pesados de más 95%
