Abstract
"PRODUçãO DE GNL EM PLANTAS DE PROCESSAMENTO DE GáS NATURAL CRIOGêNICAS". é descrito um processo para liquefação de gás natural em conjunto com o processamento do gás natural para recuperação de líquidos de gás natural (NGL). No processo, a corrente de gás natural a ser liq³efeita é tomada a partir de uma das correntes na unidade de recuperação de NGL e resfriada sob pressão para condensá-la. Uma corrente de destilação é retirada a partir da unidade de recuperação de NGL para prover parte da refrigeração necessária para condensar a corrente de gás natural. A corrente de gás natural condensada é expandida (14) até uma pressão intermediária e fornecida a um ponto de alimentação no meio de uma coluna de destilação (17). O produto de fundo (41), proveniente de tal coluna de destilação (17), contém, de preferência, a maior parte de quaisquer hidrocarbonetos mais pesados que o metano, que iriam, de outra forma, reduzir a pureza do gás natural liq³efeito, e é direcionado para a unidade de recuperação de NGL, de modo que tais hidrocarbonetos mais pesados possam ser recuperados no produto de NGL.
