Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un metodo para mejorar la estabilidad a la luz de día de un material de base de aceite lubricante o un material mezclador que se produce mediante la isomerización de la cera, el metodo consiste de hidrorrefinar el producto líquido total producido en la unidad de isomerización de cera, la hidrorrefinación se lleva a la práctica bajo condiciones suaves, usando un catalizador que se selecciona del metal del Grupo VIII sobre un óxido de metal refractario y del metal del Grupo VIII sobre un óxido de metal refractario del metal del Grupo VIII sobre un óxido de metal refractario halogenado.
