Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a película termoplástica de capas múltiples, orientada para empaque, que comprende: (a) una capa de núcleo reticulada que comprende un copolímero de etileno y alcohol de vinilo; (b) dos capas interiores reticuladas, cada capa unida a una superficie respectiva de lacapa de núcleo, y que comprende un copolímero o terpolímero que tiene un componente de copolímero de poliolefina o de etilen-ester modificado ccon un ácido carboxilico o un anhídrido de ácidos insaturados; y (c) dos capas externas reticuladas, cada una consistiendo esencialmente de una mezcla de entre aproximadamente 10 por ciento y 50 por ciento de polímero de butilacrilato de etileno, entre aproximadamente 25 por ciento y 50 por ciento de polietileno de baja densidad lineal que tiene una densidad en la escala de desde aproximadamente 0.916 gramos por centímetro cúbico a hasta aproximadamente 0.925 gramos por c entimetro cúbico, y entre aproximadamente 25 por ciento y 40 por ciento de poietileno de densidad lineal media que tiene una densidad dentro de la escala de desde aproximadamente 0.926 gramos por centímetro cúbico a hasta aproximadamente 0.941 gramos por centímetro cúbico.
